  • Admission tickets for events held by Messe Frankfurt and for the Frankfurt Book Fair also serve as RMV tickets. The key factor is that they have “KombiTicket” printed on them.
  • The KombiTicket is valid throughout the RMV network for outward and return journeys using Second Class travel on all RMV modes of transport.
  • For day tickets issued as original tickets:
    • When these are purchased in advance, they are valid for outward and return journeys on the day of validity.
    • When these are bought over the counter at the show, they entitle the holder to a return journey.
    • Please note: The date must be entered on the ticket.
    • Only the KombiTicket itself entitles the holder to travel – copies of admission ticket reservations or similar are not accepted.
  • For tickets purchased online:
    • These bear the name of the respective holder and are only valid in conjunction with ID card or a passport.
    • Individual admission tickets are valid for one outward and return journey only.
    • Season tickets are valid for as many journeys as required during the period of validity.
  • For season ticket and exhibitor tickets:
    • Valid as a KombiTicket for the period entered on the ticket.
  • For annual season tickets for entry to trade fairs:
    • This is valid for a series of trade fairs which are entered onto the ticket showing the name and period of validity. KombiTicket is also valid on the same basis as the trade fair season ticket.
  • For vouchers:
    • Messe Frankfurt vouchers can only be used as KombiTickets when they have been exchanged for online tickets.

Sales outlets

Admission tickets to Frankfurt Fair are available:

  • From (advance) ticket sales outlets of the event organiser and their sales partners
  • as an online ticket of the event organiser

Miscellaneous

  • For some trade fairs, a shuttle bus service is provided between Frankfurt Airport and the Fair. The RMV KombiTicket is not valid for this service.
