Information for older people

For some elderly people, the "Senior citizens" search profile in the Journey Planner for accessible travel (only in German) is of particular relevance, as it allows more comfortable footpaths to be found, avoiding stairs and giving preference to escalators or lifts.

In addition, it is especially helpful to have specific information about the stations or stops, as well as on the vehicles of the connection you are looking for. You can find more information on stations and stops by clicking on the name of the station or stop in the results page. If you click on the line number, the route will be displayed. Usually, information on stations and stops is available in the form of equipment lists.

Some older people also prefer to see the results in a somewhat simpler text version - you can find this on the results page in the detailed view under "Text view".
