Information for specific passenger groups
Fare regulations for specific passenger groups, such as children up to five years of age, passengers with severe disabilities and police officers.
Vocational training pass
If your vocational training college is outside the fare zones valid for a season ticket charged at the training rate, single tickets can be used for children travelling to college.
Children and young people
Mothers, fathers, grandparents and godparents travel happy: their little darlings under 6 years of age travel free of charge on RMV bus and rail services. And for older children, there are cheap tickets to get them to school and apprenticeships.
Children’s groups
Check the specific regulations of your local public transport organisation for how these apply to children’s groups.
Large group ticket
Valid for 10 to 50 people. The ticket that always charges each member of the party the cheapest price. Plan ahead and you’ll travel cheaper.
Passengers with severe disabilities
Detailed information on free travel for passengers holding a severe disability pass and those who accompany them.
Travelling without a ticket or with an invalid ticket
The most expensive single ticket in the RMV area costs € 60. If it's too much for you, you just need to make sure that you have a valid ticket in your pocket when you board the service.
