Easy navigation through the RMV area.

Enter your desired destination and get up-to-date bus and train journey information directly from your location. Just click on "Map" to orientate yourself on the map view. If required, you can combine your connection with sharing offers. These can be added in the connection view via the "Public transport" button.

Real-time data with up-to-date traffic reports, alerts for delays and train cancellations and capacity forecasts help you plan the best route. This allows you to concentrate on the most important thing: Your journey.
You can also use the stop/location search to display all the nearest stops on the map as well as their departure and arrival timetables and start a connection search from there.
 
This makes travelling quick, easy and convenient for you.

Set individual favourites

Extensive options for creating favourites

RMVgo offers extensive options for storing favourites. 

On the one hand, RMVgo offers the option of storing connection favourites by activating the star.
On the other hand, it is possible to save favourite addresses or stops, for example for home, work or a restaurant, and also to assign individual name favourites under Stop / Location. The symbol, the name of the favourite and the location can be freely selected. For example, the route to work, the address of your favourite café or the exact stop of your friends can simply be saved as a favourite. 

Regularly purchased tickets can also be defined as favourites in the Tickets / All tickets section by activating the star.

An app for every route

RMVgo gives you the option of choosing between list and map view (via the "Map" button), giving you the freedom to decide for yourself which route you want to take or which means of transport you want to use.

Thanks to our flexible selection of providers, you will always find the right means of transport for your journey - whether public transport, bicycle, e-scooter or car sharing. The settings can be easily made using the "Public transport" button. All you need is the RMVgo app to find the best connection.

With the RMVgo alert function, you monitor your personal connections and are informed in good time by us via push message about delays or schedule changes.

Uncomplicated ticket selection

Find the right ticket directly in the app.

In RMVgo you will find a selection of different tickets (including the Deutschland-Ticket), which you can easily select and pay for via the app. These are available directly in the app after purchase. The control view is displayed as soon as the ticket becomes valid.

With RMVgo, you can purchase weekly, monthly, and annual tickets, day tickets, group day tickets, the Deutschland-Ticket or Hessentickets, and the RMV-SparPass in advance. As a rule, tickets can be purchased seven days before they become valid. The Deutschland-Ticket and the annual ticket can be purchased one month in advance.

The integrated search function and the option to favorite the most frequently used tickets simplify the selection process.

DB online tickets for long-distance transport can also be purchased via RMVgo.

The RMV-PrepaidDiscount

20% discount on every single ticket

With the RMV-PrepaidDiscount, you save a whopping 20% on every purchase of a single ticket via RMVgo. Simply pay in a starting credit of 40 euros via the app. The credit is topped up using the means of payment you have deposited with meinRMV. Log into the app under "More" / "My account" and then go to "RMV-PrepaidDiscount" / "Top up now" under "My account".

If you want to pay in more money, top up again with a credit of 40 euros - a maximum of 200 euros prepaid credit, i.e. 5 times 40 euros, is possible. Questions and answers

RMVgo is the RMV app for connection information and purchasing RMV mobile phone tickets, such as the Deutschland-Ticket. RMVgo combines the classic start-destination search or stop/location search with a fast, cashless ticket purchase. After logging in to meinRMV, RMVgo can be used to buy tickets via the app. Alternatively, tickets can also be purchased via RMVgo without registering. This is possible with the PayPal payment method. Single tickets, day tickets, group day tickets and Hessenticket can also be paid for via PayPal without a customer account.

The RMV-MobileTicket is an RMV offer for purchasing RMV tickets, which is integrated into the customer portal meinRMV.

meinRMV is the RMV's central customer portal for managing personal and ticket-specific data.
 

With a myRMV user account, you not only have some advantages in using the app, but also for the RMV-MobileTicket. You can view your bills at any time, top up your prepaid discount, cancel tickets and score points with our RMVsmiles bonus programme every time you buy a ticket via RMVgo.

With RMVgo, you simply log in with your meinRMV access data (e-mail address and password).

If you have forgotten your meinRMV password, please activate the "Forgotten?" button on the meinRMV login page. After entering your e-mail address or mobile phone number, you will receive an e-mail or SMS with a link to reset your meinRMV password.

You can transfer previously purchased weekly, monthly or annual passes as RMV mobile phone tickets to your new smartphone if you are logged in to the same myRMV user account on both devices. 
The Deutschlandticket can also be transferred accordingly once it has become valid. 

You can transfer the purchased season ticket to another smartphone via RMVgo. To do this, please log in with your user data on the new smartphone to which the tickets are to be transferred. In the "My tickets" section, the tickets that are still on another device are marked with a red exclamation mark. Then click on the ticket you want to transfer to the current device. In the detailed information you will find the note "This ticket is activated on another device!" At the bottom of the screen, you can click on the "Transfer to this device" button and initiate the transfer. A maximum of 3 transfers can be carried out per user account per month.

To install RMVgo, you need the latest version or one of the previous three major versions of the iOS or Android operating systems.

An internet connection: Is needed to perform searches and ticket purchases.

Your location: Needed to help you find nearby stops via GPS or network-based. This is only required if you use this type of stop search or the map function.

Your device ID & call information (retrieve phone status and identity): Needed to generate a unique identifier for the device you are using. This is needed to assign the purchased tickets to a device.

You have the option of creating your connection as a favourite. To do this, press the star in the connection view. The message "Favourite successfully created!" appears. On the start page of the connection search, your favourites are listed at the top and below them the last connection requests. You can create several favourites.

Yes, RMVgo offers extensive options for storing personalised favourites. 
In the information section under Stop / Location, you can enter favourite addresses or stops, for example for home, work or a restaurant, and also assign individual name favourites. To do this, click the "Create favourite" button. You can enter the location (stop or address), assign a name for the favourite and select an icon. The created stop and location favourites appear at the top of the stop/location search. 
You can click on them and use the "Route" button that then appears to access the connection search.

Previous connections can be displayed by swiping down in the route overview. The "Earlier connections" button appears, which must be clicked accordingly.  Later connections can be displayed by swiping upwards. The "Later connections" button appears, which must also be clicked accordingly. It is of course also possible to change the departure time in the route overview and start a new search.

You can add your home address as a favourite in the journey planner under "Stop / Location" under "Home" or alternatively activate your location. In this case, the journey planner can be selected using the "My location" button.

iOs: You can activate location services via the app settings in the "Privacy" section.

Android: You can authorise "Location" via the app settings.

You can use the "Alert function" in the journey planner to save connections so that you are notified of delays or changes to the timetable for this route.

The setting can be found in the connection information (list view) at the three dots behind the place of departure.

A live map, in which the positions of the vehicles are displayed on the map, is not currently available in RMVgo. 

The following information is currently displayed in RMVgo: 
The forecast times are shown in the journey history and the arrival track and forecast time are shown for the destination stop. 
In addition, the current position of the vehicle is symbolised in the journey planner by a blue circle with a white arrow that moves from stop to stop. 
The route can also be displayed on the map.
Sharing vehicles such as scooters can be displayed on the map with their current location and charge status.

Currently, the following mobility services are displayed in RMVgo:

  • e-scooters (TIER, Voi, Lime)
  • Bicycles (nextbike, meinRad, Call a Bike)
  • Car sharing (book-n-drive, SHARE NOW, stadtmobil Rhein-Main)

Please use the "Sharing" button above the information with the visible scooter icon. As soon as the button is pressed, the sharing offers are displayed and can be selected. You will automatically receive results about available vehicles near the centre of the map, based on your selected map section. If no results are available, please check whether your desired mobility service is represented in RMVgo. Please also check the respective app or the provider's website to find out in which cities and regions the provider is represented. Please note that the vehicles of mobility services outside the RMV area may not be displayed.

The function for borrowing sharing offers is not yet integrated in RMVgo, but will be added at a later date via an update. For the selected sharing offer, a direct jump to the respective provider app or website is possible.

The price information displayed in RMVgo is determined by the sharing providers. Please inform yourself in the respective apps or on the websites of our mobility partners.

The function for displaying the parking zones of the sharing offers is not yet possible in RMVgo, but will be provided at a later date via an update.

With a meinRMV user account, you can view your bills at any time, top up prepaid discount, cancel tickets and score points with our RMVsmiles bonus programme every time you buy a ticket via RMVgo.

Yes, weekly and monthly tickets, day tickets, annual tickets, group day tickets, Hessentickets or the Deutschland-Ticket can be purchased in advance. The RMV-SparPass will also be available for purchase in advance. On the purchase screen, you can define the desired day of validity for these tickets in the purchase process. The purchase is possible 7 days before the start of validity of the tickets.

The Deutschland-Ticket subscription can be cancelled in accordance with the tariff regulations by the 10th of a month with effect from the end of the month. An early return is not possible after the start of validity. You will find this function under "My tickets", "Ticket detail view", "Cancel subscription", confirm "Cancel subscription". The subscription will then not be renewed at the beginning of the next month. 
If the Deutschland-Ticket was purchased as an eTicket on a chip card, the cancellation is made with the customer contract partner shown on the customer receipt that the customer received when purchasing the Deutschland-Ticket.

If you receive citizen's allowance, housing benefit, social assistance or are an asylum seeker, you are entitled to receive the discounted Deutschland-Ticket with Hessenpass mobil. 
To do so, you must submit your order with the order form and the corresponding proof of eligibility (Hessenpass mobil) to the address on the order form or a sales outlet by the 10th of the month before the start of validity.
To use the discounted Deutschlandticket with the Hessenpass mobil, it is necessary to cancel the existing Deutschland-Ticket subscription in RMVgo by the 10th of the month with effect from the end of the month. 
You can find this function in RMVgo under "My tickets", "Ticket detail view", "Cancel subscription", "Confirm cancellation of subscription". The subscription will then not be renewed at the beginning of the next month.

The following payment methods are available in RMVgo:

  • meinRMV user account with the payment method (SEPA direct debit or credit card) that you have stored in your meinRMV user account. Accepted credit cards are: AMEX, Visa, MasterCard.
  • PayPal (purchase also possible without meinRMV login)
  • RMV-PrepaidRabatt (for the purchase of short-distance tickets, single tickets and single supplement)

The Deutschland-Ticket cannot be purchased via PayPal.

  • For new customers:

The SEPA direct debit can be deposited during the new registration process, including registration for the RMV-HandyTicket service. As part of the new registration process, you will be asked to enter your payment method. Here you can choose between SEPA direct debit and credit card. When depositing a SEPA direct debit, you will be asked to confirm your bank details with your online banking login. The Tink procedure is available for this purpose. If you do not use online banking, we offer you an alternative: payment by credit card. This protects you and us from data misuse.

  • For existing customers:

If you have already stored a payment method in meinRMV in the past, you can change this to SEPA direct debit. When depositing a SEPA direct debit, you will be asked to confirm your bank details with your online banking login. The Tink procedure is available for this purpose. If you do not use online banking, we offer you an alternative: payment by credit card. This protects you and us from data misuse.
 

To set up the SEPA direct debit scheme, proceed as follows:

  • Call up the meinRMV customer portal and navigate to "RMV-HandyTicket → Settings → Change bank details" in the menu bar
  • Please click on the (radio) button "Payment by SEPA Core Direct Debit" in the corresponding dialogue for depositing the means of payment. Tink's procedure for confirming your bank details is as follows:
  1. Please select the country according to your IBAN abbreviation (for Germany, for example, DE).
  2. Agree to Tink AB's terms and conditions and privacy policy.
  3. Please select the bank where you hold your bank account.
  4. A dialogue window for your bank's online banking will open. Please log in to your bank with your online banking details.
  5. Please select the bank details you wish to use to pay for your ticket.
  6. Please issue the new SEPA direct debit mandate for the newly selected SEPA direct debit details
  7. Your new SEPA direct debit details can now be used for the upcoming purchase process.

Note: RMV only receives the information about your IBAN and BIC in the online banking system. Tink AB and RMV have no access to your online banking data (user name and password). The procedure and security rules for the confirmation of bank accounts are regulated by an EU directive (Payment Services Directive 2).

The direct debit procedure can be stored as a payment method in the meinRMV customer account. For first-time purchases by new customers with a SEPA direct debit mandate, a limit of 60 euros applies to the ticket price. This limit will be cancelled after the first payment has been successfully debited.

The tickets are stored in the app on the smartphone. You can therefore always show them, even if you have no mobile phone reception. The tickets are stored in the lower tab under the menu item "Tickets" > "My tickets". In the ticket detail view of an active ticket, you can open the control view via the button contained therein. Please note: If you have purchased a ticket while logged in, you must also be logged in to show the ticket in RMVgo. You can see whether you are logged in or not via the menu item "More". If you are logged in, your user name will appear.

In the "My tickets" overview, the last ten tickets purchased are stored in chronological order.

The RMV MobileTicket also contains the first and last name of the RMV MobileTicket user. This information is requested during the ordering process in RMVgo. An official photo ID (e.g. identity card, passport, driving licence) must be carried for the ticket control and shown to the control staff if required.

According to the Common Conditions of Carriage, every passenger is obliged to have a valid ticket when starting a journey and to be able to show it at all times. This also applies to the RMV-MobileTicket. The excuse "my battery is empty" is not valid during a check and leads to an increased transport charge levied by the control staff.

The tickets are stored in the app on your mobile phone. So you can always show them, even if you don't have mobile reception at the time of the check. The tickets are stored under "Tickets". The last ten tickets purchased are stored there in chronological order.

It is an offer for users of the RMV-MobileTicket, with which customers pay for their ticket purchases for single journeys (including short distance and single supplement) via the app from a previously deposited credit of 40 euros and receive a discount of 20% for this.

You must be registered with the customer portal meinRMV. You can register directly in RMVgo or at www.rmv.de. It is not possible to use the RMV-PrepaidDiscount without a meinRMV user account.

Log in to RMVgo with your meinRMV customer account. There you will find the "RMV-PrepaidDiscount" item in the "My Account" menu. Here you can top up credit (credit card or SEPA direct debit) and view your current credit balance. If you top up your PrepaidDiscount credit via the app, you will also receive an invoice by e-mail.

You can always add 40 euros to your PrepaidDiscount account for each top-up. A maximum of 200 euros, i.e. 5 payment transactions of 40 euros each, can be paid in. For example, if you would like to top up your account with 80 euros, you will need to make 2 separate payments.

If there is a remaining credit balance that is lower than the price of the selected ticket, the selected ticket cannot be paid for with the PrepaidDiscount credit. You then have the option of topping up new credit (at least 40 euros) or having the remaining credit refunded.

Yes, you can also have your RMV-PrepaidDiscountt credit refunded in the app menu. To do this, go to "My account" / "RMV-PrepaidDiscount" / "Refund now" in RMVgo. The remaining credit will then be refunded to the pament method you have deposited with my RMV.

If you do not use the RMV-PrepaidDiscount within a period of 12 months (e.g. no credit top-up, no retrieval of tickets despite existing credit), then your PrepaidDiscount credit will initially be deactivated. However, you will automatically receive a reminder e-mail 14 days before deactivation (or before the end of the 12 months). Please then contact RMV Customer Communication via our online service portal if your remaining credit has been deactivated. RMV Customer Communication can then immediately initiate the payment of your remaining credit. Your claim to payment of the remaining credit is subject to the statutory limitation period of § 195 BGB.

Select your ticket in RMVgo via the connection search as usual. If you want to buy a short-distance ticket, single ticket or single supplement, you can select RMV-PrepaidDiscount under Payment method. You will then be shown the discounted price and your credit balance. By clicking on "Buy ticket now", the ticket price will be debited from your RMV-PrepaidDiscount credit and you will receive the desired RMV MobileTicket. You can use the ticket as usual.

You can buy short-distance tickets, single tickets and the single supplement with a 20% discount. All other tickets such as day or monthly tickets always include a discount compared to the single ticket and are therefore not available with the RMV-PrepaidDiscount.

Also excluded is the purchase of a single ticket with a BahnCard, as this also already includes a discount.

No. Unfortunately, this option no longer exists.

Tickets purchased via the RMV-PrepaidDiscount will not appear on your monthly RMV MobileTicket invoice as they are charged against your PrepaidDiscount credit. However, individual receipts can be created for tickets that were paid for with the RMV-PrepaidDiscount. You can also obtain these in RMVgo.
