To view earlier connections, first swipe down in the route overview. Then tap „Earlier connections.”

To view later connections, swipe up and tap „Later connections.”

Alternatively, you can adjust the departure time directly and search for a new connection.

You can add another stop by doing this:

• First, enter your starting point and destination. Then tap the plus sign (+) on the right and select „Add stop.”
• You can change the order by dragging and dropping the stops using the two lines next to them.
• Tap „Apply”. The connection will now be shown with the stopover included.

You can save your home address as a favorite under „Home” in the journey planner by entering it in the „Stop / Location” field.
Alternatively, you can enable your location and conveniently start your connection search using the „My location” button.

You can enable location access as follows:

• iOS: Go to your device’s Privacy settings and enable Location Services for the app.

• Android: Grant Location permission via the app settings.

Save connections:
Tap the star icon in the connection view to save a connection as a favorite. A confirmation will appear: „Favorite saved successfully!“
Your favorites will be displayed at the top of the connection search start page, above your most recently searched connections.
You can save multiple favorites.

Save addresses or stops:
Under “Stop / Location”, you can save places like your home, work, or favorite restaurant as favorites – with a custom name and icon.
To do so, tap “Add favorite”, enter the address or stop, choose a name, and select an icon.

Your favorites appear at the top of the stop/location search.
After selecting a favorite, you can start the connection search directly by tapping the “Route” button.

You can easily manage your favorites using the „Edit” button next to them:

• Use the two parallel lines on the right to rearrange the favorites using drag & drop.
• You can edit favorites using the pencil icon.
• To delete favorites, click on the red circle.

To stay informed about delays, use the „Set alert” feature. You’ll find it in the three-dot menu at the top right of the connection details screen.

RMVgo provides you with all the important information about your journey.

• In the journey overview, you can see forecast times, the arrival platform, and the estimated arrival time at your destination stop.
• In the connection details, the current position of the vehicle is shown as a blue circle with a white arrow. It moves along the route from stop to stop. You can also follow the route on the map.
• Sharing services like e-scooters are shown directly on the map with their current location and battery level.

The following mobility services are currently listed in RMVgo:

• E-scooters (Voi, Lime)
• Bicycles (nextbike, meinRad)
• Car sharing (book-n-drive, SHARE NOW, stadtmobil Rhein-Main)

The function for renting sharing services is not yet integrated in RMVgo, but will be added with a later update. For the selected sharing offer, a direct jump to the respective provider app or website is possible.

The feature for displaying parking zones for sharing offers is not yet integrated in RMVgo, but will be added with a later update.

The price information shown in RMVgo is determined by the sharing providers. Please refer to the respective apps or websites of our mobility partners.

The following RMV-OnDemand regions are currently visible in RMVgo:

• Colibri (Hofheim)
• Emil (Idstein)
• LahnStar (Limburg)
• SiGGi (Groß-Gerau)

To book an on-demand shuttle in these and other regions, you can download the app OnDemand@RMV app.

You can also buy tickets for the transitional fare zones in RMVgo.

• Depending on the availability of the mobile network, there may be delays in the ticket transfer. Make sure that you have a stable internet connection throughout the purchasing process.
• If the purchased ticket does not immediately appear on the display or is not listed under „Tickets”, please refresh the page. If the ticket is still not visible under „My tickets”, please log out and log back in. To do this, go to „More” and then „My account”.

Important: If you purchased the ticket while logged in, you must also be logged in to show the ticket during inspection.

If the ticket is not displayed despite these steps, please contact us via the contact form and use an alternative sales channel in the meantime, e.g. the ticket machine. In the event of an error in our systems, the ticket price can be refunded.

Weekly, monthly, or annual passes already purchased as RMV-HandyTickets can be transferred from your old smartphone to a new one. Once the validity period has started, this also applies to the Deutschland-Ticket. The requirement is that you are logged in with the same meinRMV account on both devices.

• Log in to RMVgo on your new smartphone using your meinRMV account. Under „My Tickets”, you’ll see tickets marked with a red exclamation mark – these are still stored on your other device.
• Select the ticket you want to transfer. In the details, you’ll see the message: „This ticket is activated on another device!”
• Tap „Transfer to this device” to start the transfer.

Each meinRMV account allows up to three transfers per month.

According to fare regulations, the Germany Ticket can be cancelled by the 10th of the month, effective at the end of that month. Early cancellation after the validity period has begun is not possible.

To cancel, go to „My Tickets“, then to „Germany Ticket“, and tap the „Cancel subscription“ button.

If the cancellation doesn’t work, please log out and log back in. You can find this option under the menu item „More“ and then „My Account“. After that, check whether a cancellation is possible.

If you receive citizen's benefit, housing benefit, welfare benefits or are an asylum seeker, you are entitled to the discounted Deutschland-Ticket with the Hessenpass mobil. In order to receive this ticket at the beginning of the month, the order form must be submitted together with the credentials (Hessenpass mobil) to the address stated on the order form or to a RMV sales office by the 10th of the previous month.

• If you already have a Deutschland-Ticket subscription, you must cancel it in RMVgo by the 10th of the month with effect from the end of the month.
• Go to „My Tickets“ in the app, then to „Ticket details“ and tap „Cancel subscription“. Your subscription will then end at the end of the month and will not be renewed.

Note: The discounted Deutschland-Ticket with Hessenpass mobil is only available as an eTicket on a chip card and can be purchased online in the RMV-TicketShop or using the order form. Further information can be found on the „Hessenpass mobil” page.

If you don’t have a meinRMV account, you can purchase tickets using PayPal.

If you are logged into RMVgo with a meinRMV account, the following payment methods are available to you:

• SEPA direct debit
• Credit card
• RMV-PrepaidRabatt (for discounted purchase of short-distance tickets, single tickets, and single supplements)

Note: The Deutschland-Ticket cannot be purchased via PayPal.

You need an active meinRMV account to set up the SEPA direct debit.

To set up the SEPA direct debit, proceed as follows:

• Open the meinRMV customer portal in your browser.
• Navigate to „RMV-HandyTicket“ then „Settings“ and then „Change bank details” in the menu bar.
• Please select the payment method „Pay with new SEPA direct debit”.

Tink's procedure for confirming your bank details is as follows:
1. Select the country according to your IBAN abbreviation (for Germany e.g. DE).
2. Agree to the General Terms and Conditions and the Privacy Policy of Tink AB.
3. Choose your bank.
4. A dialog window for your bank's online banking will open. Please log in to your bank with your online banking details.
5. Select the bank details you want to use as payment for your ticket.
6. Issue the new SEPA direct debit mandate for the newly selected SEPA direct debit details.
7. Your new SEPA direct debit details can now be used for the upcoming purchasing process.
 

Note: We only receives the information about your IBAN and BIC in the online banking system. Tink AB and us have no access to your online banking data (user name and password). The procedure and security rules for confirming bank accounts are regulated by an EU directive (Payment Services Directive 2).

The direct debit procedure can be saved as a payment method in the meinRMV account. For first-time purchases by new customers with a SEPA direct debit mandate, a limit of 60 euros applies to the ticket price. This limit will be lifted once the first payment has been successfully charged.

The tickets are saved in RMVgo. You can therefore always retrieve them, even if you have no mobile reception.

• You can find your tickets under „Tickets” and then „My Tickets.” In the ticket details view of an active ticket, you can open the ticket inspection view using the corresponding button.
• The last ten tickets purchased are saved in chronological order in the overview.
• If you have purchased a season ticket in advance, the control view will only be displayed once the validity of the ticket has started.

Please note: If you have purchased a ticket while logged in, you must also be logged in to show the ticket in RMVgo during an inspection. You can login under the section „More”and then „My account”.

The RMV-HandyTicket also contains the first name and surname of the RMV-HandyTicket user. This information is requested during the ordering process in RMVgo. For the ticket inspection, you must carry an official photo ID (like an identity card, passport, driving license) and show it to the ticket inspection staff if required.

The excuse “my battery is empty” is not valid during an inspection and will result in an increased fare, which will be charged by the inspection staff. According to the Common Conditions of Carriage, every passenger is obliged to have a valid ticket at the start of the journey and to be able to show it at all times. This also applies to the RMV-HandyTicket.

You do not need an internet connection for the ticket inspection, as the tickets are saved in RMVgo. The tickets are kept under „My tickets”. The last ten tickets purchased are sorted there in chronological order.

The RMV-PrepaidRabatt is a special offer for the RMV-HandyTicket.

If you pay for your one-way tickets (including short-distance and single supplement) via RMVgo with a previously topped-up credit of 40 euros, you will receive a discount of 20 %.

For all those for whom a season ticket is currently not worth it, but who still want to benefit from discounts on their occasional journeys. The RMV-PrepaidRabatt offers the opportunity to purchase discounted tickets at any time.

To be able to use the RMV-PrepaidRabatt, you need a meinRMV account. You can register directly in RMVgo or at rmv.de.

Log in to RMVgo with your meinRMV access data and go to „RMV-PrepaidRabatt” in the menu under „My account”. There you can top up your credit and view the current balance. After topping up via RMVgo, you will receive an invoice by e-mail.

You can top up using the payment methods stored in your meinRMV account (credit card or SEPA direct debit).

You can add 40 € per charge to your prepaid discount credit, up to a maximum of 200 € (5 payments of 40 € each). For example, if you would like to top up with 80 €, you must make two separate transactions.

If your remaining credit is not enough to pay for the desired ticket, you cannot purchase it with the RMV-PrepaidRabatt credit. In this case, you must first add new credit (at least 40 €). Alternatively, you can have the remaining credit refunded at any time.

You can request a refund of your RMV-PrepaidRabatt credit in the RMVgo menu.
To do this, go to „My Account”, then to „RMV Prepaid Discount”, and tap „Request refund now.” The remaining balance will be refunded to the payment method stored in your meinRMV account.

If you haven’t used the RMV-PrepaidRabatt for 12 months (no top-ups or ticket purchases), your credit will be deactivated. You will automatically receive a reminder email 14 days before the deadline.

If your remaining credit has been deactivated, please contact us via our online service portal. The payout of the remaining balance will then be initiated immediately. Your right to claim a refund is subject to the statutory limitation periodin accordance withSection 195 of the German Civil Code (BGB).

Using RMVgo with the RMV-PrepaidRabatt you can buy short-distance tickets, single tickets and the single suppliment with a 20 % discount. All other tickets already include a discount. They are therefore excluded from the RMV-PrepaidRabatt.

• Select the desired ticket in RMVgo. If it is a short-distance ticket, single ticket, or single supplement, you can use the RMV-PrepaidRabatt.
• Select RMV-PrepaidRabatt as the payment method. You will then see the discounted price and your current balance.
• By clicking „Buy ticket,” the ticket price will be deducted from your RMV-PrepaidRabatt balance and your ticket will be issued.

Tickets that you purchase with the RMV-PrepaidRabatt are not listed on the monthly RMV-HandyTicket invoice, as they are directly deducted from your RMV-PrepaidRabatt credit. However, individual receipts can be created for these tickets upon request.
