• By swiping downwards in the route overview, the button "Previous connections" gets visible. You have to press the button.
• To see later connections, swipe upwards until the button "Later connections" appears. Press it as well.

Alternatively, you can adjust the departure time in the route overview and start a new search.

Yes, you can add another stop:

• First enter the start and destination. A three-dot menu appears at the top right.
• Click on the menu and select “Add stop” to choose a stop. You can use the two parallel lines next to the stops to move them using drag & drop.
• Confirm with “Apply”. The connection is now displayed with the stopover.

You can save your home address as a favorite under “Home” in the information system under “Stop / Location“. Alternatively, you can activate your location and start the connection search conveniently via the “My location” button.

You can activate location sharing as follows:

• iOS: You can activate location services via the app settings in the “Privacy” section.
• Android: You can authorize the “Location” via the app settings.

Connections:
You can save your routes as favorites by clicking on the star in the connection view. You will then receive the confirmation “Favorite successfully created!”. Your favorites will then appear at the top of the start page of the connection search, followed by the last connections you searched for. Of course, you can also create several favorites.

Addresses/stops:
Under “Stop / location” you can save favorites for addresses or stops, for example for home, work or a restaurant. You can also assign your own names to your favorites. To do this, click on “Create favorite”, enter the desired stop or address, assign a name and select an icon.

The favorites you have created appear at the top of the stop/location search. You can select a favorite by tapping on it and then start the connection search using the “Route” button.

Yes, you can easily manage your favorites using the “Edit” button next to them:

• Use the two parallel lines on the right to rearrange the favorites using drag & drop.
• You can edit favorites using the pencil icon.
• To delete favorites, click on the red circle.

Use the "Set alarm" feature to be informed about delays. You can find it in the three-dot menu at the top right of the connection information.

RMVgo provides you with the following information:
Forecast times are displayed in the journey history, as well as the arrival track and the forecast arrival time for the destination stop.
In the connection information, the current position of the vehicle is shown by a blue circle with a white arrow, which moves along the route from stop to stop. The route can also be viewed on the map.

Note: Sharing vehicles such as e-scooters are displayed directly on the map, including their current location and charging status.

The following mobility services are currently listed in RMVgo:

• E-scooters (Voi, Lime)
• Bicycles (nextbike, meinRad)
• Car sharing (book-n-drive, SHARE NOW, stadtmobil Rhein-Main)

The function for renting sharing services is not yet integrated in RMVgo, but will be added with a later update. For the selected sharing offer, a direct jump to the respective provider app or website is possible.

The feature for displaying parking zones for sharing offers is not yet integrated in RMVgo, but will be added with a later update.

The price information shown in RMVgo is determined by the sharing providers. Please refer to the respective apps or websites of our mobility partners.

Yes, you can also buy tickets for the transitional fare zones in RMVgo.

You can purchase day tickets, group day tickets, Hessentickets, weekly, monthly and annual tickets as well as the Deutschland-Ticket in advance. Tickets can be purchased 7 days before vaildation. There is a longer advance booking period for the Deutschland-Ticket. When purchasing, you can specify the desired day of validity.

• Depending on the availability of the mobile network, there may be delays in the ticket transfer. Make sure that you have a stable internet connection throughout the purchasing process.
• If the purchased ticket does not immediately appear on the display or is not listed under “Tickets”, please refresh the page. If the ticket is still not visible under “My tickets”, please log out and log back in. To do this, go to “More” → “My account”.

Important: If you purchased the ticket while logged in, you must also be logged in to show the ticket during inspection.

If the ticket is not displayed despite these steps, please contact us via the contact form and use an alternative sales channel in the meantime, e.g. the ticket machine. In the event of an error in our systems, the ticket price can be refunded.

You can transfer previously purchased weekly, monthly or annual tickets to your new smartphone as RMV-MobileTickets if you are logged into the same meinRMV account on both devices. This also applies to the Deutschland-Ticket once it becomes valid.

• Log in to RMVgo with your meinRMV login data on the new smartphone.
• In the “My tickets” section, the tickets that are still on another device are marked with a red exclamation mark. Click on the ticket you want to transfer. In the detailed information you will find the note “This ticket is activated on another device!”
• Click on the “Transfer to this device” button at the bottom of the screen. This triggers the transfer.

A maximum of 3 transfers per month can be carried out in your meinRMV account.

According to the fare conditions, the Deutschland-Ticket can be canceled by the 10th of the month with effect on the end of the month. Early return is not possible after the start of validity.

• You can cancel under “My tickets” → “Deutschlandticket” using the “Cancel subscription” button.

If the cancellation does not work in RMVgo, please check whether the cancellation is possible after logging out and logging in again. You can find this feature under the menu item “More” → “My account”.

If you receive citizen's benefit, housing benefit, welfare benefits or are an asylum seeker, you are entitled to the discounted Deutschland-Ticket with the Hessenpass mobil. In order to receive this ticket at the beginning of the month, the order form must be submitted together with the credentials (Hessenpass mobil) to the address stated on the order form or to a sales office by the 10th of the previous month.

• If you already have a Deutschland-Ticket subscription, you must cancel it in RMVgo by the 10th of the month with effect from the end of the month.
• To do this, go to “My tickets” → “Ticket detail view” → “Cancel subscription” in RMVgo. Your subscription will then be terminated at the end of the month and will not be renewed.

Note: The discounted Deutschland-Ticket with Hessenpass mobil is only available as an eTicket on a chip card and can be purchased online in the RMV-TicketShop or using the order form. Further information can be found on the “Hessenpass mobil” page.

The following payment methods are available in RMVgo:

• meinRMV account (SEPA direct debit or credit card registered in the account)
• PayPal (purchases also possible without myRMV login)
• RMV-PrepaidRabatt (for the discounted purchase of short-distance tickets, one-way tickets and single supplements)

Note: The Deutschland-Ticket cannot be purchased via PayPal.

You need an active meinRMV account to set up the SEPA direct debit.

To set up the SEPA direct debit, proceed as follows:

• Open the meinRMV customer portal in your browser and navigate to “RMV-HandyTicket" → "Settings" → "Change bank details” in the menu bar
• Please select the payment method “Pay with new SEPA direct debit”.

Tink's procedure for confirming your bank details is as follows:
1. Please select the country according to your IBAN abbreviation (for Germany e.g. DE).
2. Agree to the General Terms and Conditions and the Privacy Policy of Tink AB.
3. Please select the bank where you have your bank account.
4. A dialog window for your bank's online banking will open. Please log in to your bank with your online banking details.
5. Please select the bank details you want to use as payment for your ticket.
6. Please issue the new SEPA direct debit mandate for the newly selected SEPA direct debit details.
7. Your new SEPA direct debit details can now be used for the upcoming purchasing process.
 

Note: RMV only receives the information about your IBAN and BIC in the online banking system. Tink AB and RMV have no access to your online banking data (user name and password). The procedure and security rules for confirming bank accounts are regulated by an EU directive (Payment Services Directive 2).

The direct debit procedure can be saved as a payment method in the meinRMV account. For first-time purchases by new customers with a SEPA direct debit mandate, a limit of 60 euros applies to the ticket price. This limit will be lifted once the first payment has been successfully charged.

The tickets are saved in RMVgo. You can therefore always retrieve them, even if you have no mobile reception.

• The tickets are stored under the menu item “Tickets” → “My tickets”. In the ticket detail view of an active ticket, you can open the control view using the corresponding button.
• The last ten tickets purchased are saved in chronological order in the overview.
• If you have purchased a season ticket in advance, the control view will only be displayed once the validity of the ticket has started.

Please note: If you have purchased a ticket while logged in, you must also be logged in to show the ticket in RMVgo during an inspection. You can login under the section “More” → “My account”.

The RMV-HandyTicket also contains the first name and surname of the RMV-HandyTicket user. This information is requested during the ordering process in RMVgo. For the ticket inspection, you must carry an official photo ID (like an identity card, passport, driving license) and show it to the ticket inspection staff if required.

The excuse “my battery is empty” is not valid during an inspection and will result in an increased fare, which will be charged by the inspection staff. According to the Common Conditions of Carriage, every passenger is obliged to have a valid ticket at the start of the journey and to be able to show it at all times. This also applies to the RMV-HandyTicket.

No, you do not need an internet connection for the ticket inspection, as the tickets are saved in RMVgo. The tickets are kept under “My tickets”. The last ten tickets purchased are sorted there in chronological order.

The RMV-PrepaidRabatt is a special offer for the RMV-HandyTicket.

If you pay for your one-way tickets (including short-distance and single supplement) via RMVgo with a previously topped-up credit of 40 euros, you will receive a discount of 20 percent.

For all those for whom a season ticket is currently not worth it, but who still want to benefit from discounts on their occasional journeys. The RMV-PrepaidRabatt offers the opportunity to purchase discounted tickets at any time.

To be able to use the RMV-PrepaidRabatt, you need a meinRMV account. You can register directly in RMVgo or at rmv.de.

Log in to RMVgo with your meinRMV access data and go to “RMV-PrepaidRabatt” in the menu under “My account”. There you can top up your credit and view the current balance. After topping up via RMVgo, you will receive an invoice by e-mail.

• You can top up using the payment methods stored in your meinRMV account (credit card or SEPA direct debit).

You can add 40 euros per charge to your prepaid discount credit, up to a maximum of 200 euros (5 payments of 40 euros each). For example, if you would like to top up with 80 euros, you must make two separate transactions.

If your remaining credit is not enough to pay for the desired ticket, you cannot purchase it with the PrepaidRabatt credit. In this case, you must first add new credit (at least 40 euros). Alternatively, you can have the remaining credit refunded at any time.

Yes, you can have your RMV-PrepaidRabatt credit refunded in the RMVgo menu.

• To do this, go to "My Account" → "RMV prepaid discount" → "Refund now" in RMVgo. The remaining credit will be refunded to the payment method saved in your meinRMV account.

No, if you do not use the RMV-PrepaidRabatt for 12 months (do not top up your credit or use it to buy tickets), your credit will be deactivated. You will automatically receive a reminder email 14 days before the deadline ends.

• If your remaining credit has been deactivated, please contact RMV customer service via our online service portal. The remaining credit will then be paid out immediately. Your right of payout is subject to the statutory limitation period in accordance with Section 195 of the German Civil Code.

Using RMVgo with the RMV-PrepaidRabatt you can buy short-distance tickets, single tickets and the single suppliment with a 20 percent discount. All other tickets already include a discount. They are therefore excluded from the RMV-PrepaidRabatt.

• In RMVgo, select your ticket using the connection search.
• If you want to buy a short-distance ticket, single ticket or single supplement, select the RMV-PrepaidRabatt as the payment method. You will then be shown the discounted price and your current credit balance.
• By clicking on "Buy ticket", the ticket price will be deducted from your RMV-PrepaidRabatt credit and you will receive your ticket.

Tickets that you purchase with the RMV-PrepaidRabatt are not listed on the monthly RMV-HandyTicket invoice, as they are directly deducted from your PrepaidRabatt credit. However, individual receipts can be created for these tickets upon request.
