  • The RMV day ticket entitles the individual holder to any number of journeys in the area covered using all RMV modes of transport.
  • Valid the day of validity until 05:00 a.m. the next day
  • Holders of day tickets purchased at price level 3 valid for use in Frankfurt (fare zone 50) are not entitled to use them to travel to Frankfurt Airport (fare zone 5090).
  • The day ticket is also available for children - at a reduced price.
  • The day ticket costs a little less than twice the price of a single ticket.

We have a special city tariff in Frankfurt. Day tickets for Frankfurt (tariff zone 5000) are valid in the entire city area with the exception of the airport (tariff zone 5090).

The following prices apply for the city area (tariff zone 5000):

  • Day tickets for adults: 7.75 euros
  • Day tickets for children: 3.00 euros

For journeys between the city area (Stadtgebiet) (5000) and the airport (Flughafen) (5090) the following prices apply:

  • Day tickets for adults: 13.50 euros
  • Day tickets for children: 8.00 euros

FrankfurtCard

The FrankfurtCard is available for groups (max. 5 persons) as a one- or two-day ticket. It is valid in the Frankfurt city area including the airport (tariff zones 5000 and 5090) and also offers numerous discounts for tourist attractions.

  • 1-day ticket: 13.00 euros
  • 2-day ticket: 21.00 euros

Reduced fares

  • Some towns, cities and districts in the RMV area supply tickets subject to certain conditions. For more information, please click on local tickets.

  • Day ticket extra: Is valid in the chosen area of validity for a random number of rides on the chosen day of validity up to the last day of validity on the ticket until close of operations. The use of long-distance trains is excluded.
