  • The RMV Semester Ticket is shown on the university study pass.
  • A student ID without picture issued by university administration may only be used as an RMV SemesterTicket along with the official identification card, passport, German driving license, international driving license, ISIC international student ID. Student picture IDs may also be used as a ticket without additional identification.
  • The student ID must be clearly marked as RMV ticket with impression, as text on the Studicard TRW strip, or with a sticker. Based on the respective contractual agreements with the Students’ Unions of the academies and universities.
  • Generally valid for 7 months. The exact period for which it is valid is printed on the RMV SemesterTicket. Different periods of validity may apply for some universities.

Regional Validity

The SemesterTicket is valid throughout the RMV transport district and in interim transit regions with the Nordhessischer VerkehrsVerbund (NVV) and the Verkehrsverbund Rhein-Neckar (VRN). In some cases special agreements exist with other transit regions for certain regions of validity. For more information please visit the website of the respective university.
