  • For any number of journeys in all RMV transportation means
  • The Sparticket is valid from Monday to Friday from 9 hours until the end of operations on that day. On weekends and public holidays in Hesse, as well as on 24 and 31 December, it is valid all day. The 9-o'clock annual passes are issued as electronic tickets on the eTicket RheinMain - except in transitional tariff areas.
  • Including the carry-on rule:
    • One adult and any number of children under 15 travel free of charge
    • Daily from 19.00 hours, Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays in Hesse as well as all day on 24 and 31 December
  • In 3 variants: as a personal annual pass subscription, transferable annual pass subscription and transferable annual pass without subscription
  • Up to 25 per cent cheaper than the "normal" annual passes

Mobile Ticket (RMV-HandyTicket)

Yes, without subscription

  • The personal 9-o'clock annual pass subscription is valid from 9.00 hours onwards from Monday to Friday, and all day on weekends and public holidays. It offers a price advantage of 15-25% compared to the "normal" annual pass subscription.
  • In case of a loss, replacement is against payment of a processing fee amounting to 10.00 Euro.
  • If you forget your personal 9-o'clock annual pass and find yourself in a ticket check, you only have to pay 7.00 Euros instead of the usual 60.00 Euros.
  • Fare can be refunded in the event of prolonged illness or a stay at a health resort. Get more information in the “Fare reimbursement in case of illness” section in Special conditions for annual passes.

We have a special city tariff in Frankfurt. All annual tickets for Frankfurt are valid in the entire city area including the airport (fare zones 5000 and 5090).

The following prices apply for the city area (tariff zones 5000 and 5090):

  • Personal 9 o'clock season ticket subscription: monthly 63.00 euros (12 debits per year = 756.00 euros) or 740.90 euros if debited once in advance

You can purchase an annual season ticket at the RMV-Mobilitätszentrale Verkehrsinsel at Hauptwache, at the VGF-TicketCenters Hauptwache, Konstablerwache and Bornheim Mitte, online at meine.vgf-ffm.de or the RMV-TicketShop , or by sending in the order form by post.

Terms of payment

  • 2% discount upon payment in advance
  • By direct debit in twelve monthly instalments (without cash discount)

Miscellaneous

  • Almost everything related to the eTicket RheinMain can also take place online under meinRMV: Management of your data, the purchase of an annual pass, the notification of a loss and the associated replacement issue, etc.
  • Changes to the annual pass subscription (e.g. with regard to the tariff zones) are possible on the first day of the following month, provided that the information is received by your transport company by the 10th of the previous month at the latest.
  • The annual ticket can be terminated at the end of each month. The termination shall take place through the transport company from which the subscription was purchased. The termination can normally be daily, even up to the last day of the prior month, in writing via email or a letter to the contract transport company. Please enquire at the issuing company for the precise modalities.
  • In the event of cancellation during the first 12-month period, the price of the corresponding monthly travel pass will be charged for each month of use.
  • After the expiry of an entire 12-month period, monthly cancellations can be made without additional charge.
  • For large customers, special sales conditions may apply.

9 o'clock annual tickets as RMV mobile tickets

  • In RMVgo, 9 o'clock annual tickets without a subscription are available in advance: Tickets can be bought seven days before the ticket starts to be valid. The RMV 9 o'clock annual tickets as a mobile ticket are also available for the transition tariff areas.
  • The RMV 9 o'clock annual tickets as a mobile ticket are personalised for one person and cannot be transferred to another person after purchase. The name of the ticket holder must be stated at the time of purchase. In the event of a ticket inspection, the ticket holder can be checked against an official photo ID.
  • To increase security, the RMV 9 o'clock annual tickets are updated once a day in the app via the Internet. For this purpose, please go online briefly and open the app before starting your journey. The "Valid from" field in the mobile ticket will then be updated to the current date, the "Valid until" field will still show the date of the last day of validity of the annual ticket. The time of purchase is displayed unchanged in the "Purchased on" field. During every check, the current date must be visible on the ticket, but an Internet connection is then not necessary.
  • You need a meinRMV user account to purchase a 9 o'clock annual ticket as an RMV mobile ticket. Payment is made via the payment method stored in your meinRMV user account.
  • If you are unable to show your RMV 9 o'clock annual ticket as an RMV mobile ticket at a checkpoint, the increased transport charge (EBE) can be reduced to 7 euros afterwards under certain conditions. Please contact the company that issued the EBE directly. The contact details of the company are given on the EBE document.
