General
The joint fare regulations stipulate that Deutschland-Ticket Job can be issued providing that the following conditions are met:
- Your employer will need to enter into a job ticket contract with a participating transport association or transport company.
- A 5 percent discount on the current price
- Discount eligibility: The company/organisation must subsidise at least 25 percent of the issuance price per job ticket. The employer can, of course, volunteer to pay higher subsidies or even cover the costs in full.

Validity
The Deutschland-Ticket Job is a non-transferable personal season ticket linked to the service or employment relationship.
- The Deutschland-Ticket Job is only issued as a chip card and is only valid in conjunction with an official photo ID.
- The Deutschland-Ticket Job is valid nationwide for 2nd class services on local and regional transport (not on long-distance services, e.g. ICE, IC, EC).
- Persons aged 6 and over are not permitted to travel without a ticket.

Note on the Deutschland-Ticket Job: The Deutschland-Ticket is a nationwide fare for local rail passenger transport (SPNV) and local public transport (ÖPNV) subsidised by the Federal Republic of Germany and the federal states. The fare conditions for the Deutschland-Ticket supplement the existing fare and transport conditions applicable to the participating transport associations, the state fares and the Germany fare as well as the transport conditions of the participating regional rail transport companies and the participating local public transport companies, unless otherwise stated in the following regulations. The terms and conditions of the contracting transport company apply to the issuance of the Deutschland-Ticket.
