RMVgo - Mobile Ticket
The "RMVgo" app enables fast and cashless travel for you across the Rhine-Main region.
Just enter your desired destination and get the latest information about buses and trains that will take you there directly from your location. One click is all it takes to find your way on the map. If required, you can also combine your connection with offers for sharing services or you can request a walking route to be displayed. Real-time data with up-to-date traffic reports and information about how crowded the route is likely to be will help you to pick the best option. This allows you to focus on the most important thing: Your route.
In addition, you can use the search for stops/locations to display all the nearest stops as well as the departure and arrival timetables at those stops and start a connection search from there. This makes it quick and easy for you to depart on the route best suited to your preferences.
Install RMVgo free of charge on your smartphone. Please log in with your existing meinRMV access data (email address and password). The mobile PIN is no longer necessary to log into RMVgo.

To be able to use RMVgo, download the app from the Apple App Store or the Google Play Store and log in with your meinRMV account. You will find the login function in the "More" > "My Account" tab. If you don’t use meinRMV yet you can register at any time.

Note: DB long-distance tickets can be purchased via RMVgo as DB online tickets.
Tickets will be stored in RMVgo on your smartphone. So you will always be able to show them, even if you can’t get a mobile signal. Tickets are placed in the bottom tab under the menu point "Tickets" > "My Tickets". You can open the control view in the detailed ticket view of an active ticket using the button included there.
If you have purchased a season ticket in advance, the control view will not be displayed until the ticket has been validated.
The last ten purchased tickets are chronologically sorted and saved in the "My Tickets" overview.
Please note: If you were logged in when you bought a ticket, you will also have to be logged in when you show the ticket in RMVgo. You can see whether you are logged in or not in the menu point "More" > "My Account" Your user name will appear if you are logged in.
The RMV M-ticket also includes the first and last name of the RMV M-ticket user. These details are requested during the ordering process in RMVgo. An official photo identification (e.g., ID card, passport, driving licence) must be carried and if required, presented to the officer at the time of the ticket check.
You can buy tickets without cash. Payment is possible using your meinRMV customer account, by direct debit, Paypal or credit card. You can also pay for single, day, group and Hessian tickets with PayPal without logging in.
In addition, you can use the RMV PrepaidDiscount when buying short distance tickets, single tickets and the single supplement as a MobileTicket. You can pay in 40 euros or more through your meinRMV customer account. This money will then be available in the payment process as a RMV PrepaidDiscount and will give you a discount of 20 per cent.
This will then be billed through your meinRMV customer account at the end of the month. Individual receipts will be generated per trip.

In order to make a purchase, you need to use the latest version of RMVgo (1.10). Please update the app beforehand, if you have not already done so. The Deutschland-Ticket is available for the current and the following month. The Deutschland-Ticket can be purchased in RMVgo via the connection information or from the "All tickets" section. The Deutschland-Ticket can currently be purchased using the credit card. The payment method can be saved in your myRMV profile in the RMV HandyTicket settings.

DB online tickets can be purchased in the current version of RMVgo.
Depending on the availability of the mobile network, the transfer of tickets may be delayed. Please ensure that you have an internet connection throughout the entire purchase process.
- If a purchased ticket is not immediately shown on the display or listed under "Tickets", please refresh the page again.
- If the ticket is still not visible under “My Tickets”, please log out and log in again. You can find this function under the menu item “More” > “My Account”.
- Please note: If you purchased a ticket while logged in, you must also be logged in to show the ticket in RMVgo.
If, despite these measures, no ticket is displayed, please use our contact form and, if necessary, switch to another sales channel (e.g. ticket machine) at short notice. If there is an error in our systems, a refund of the ticket price can be arranged.
According to the general conditions of carriage, each passenger is under obligation to possess a valid ticket at the time of departure and to be able to show it at any given point in time. That is applicable for RMV-HandyTicket as well. The excuse of “My battery is discharged” is not valid during a check and will only lead to an increased transportation charge levied by the control staff.
The following payment methods are available in RMVgo:
- meinRMV customer account (SEPA direct debit or credit card stored in the customer account)
- PayPal (can also be purchased without meinRMV login)
- RMV-PrepaidDiscount (for the discounted purchase of short distance tickets, single tickets, and single supplement)The SEPA direct debit payment method is temporarily not available for new customers. RMV customers who have already paid by direct debit can continue to do so. However, it is not possible to change your bank details for ticket purchases in RMVgo. All other payment methods are still available. It is also possible to purchase tickets with a SEPA direct debit mandate via the RMV TicketShop or the RMV sales offices. Please note the corresponding order deadlines.
